If you have a support behind you, you can beat complancey by throwing a wrench in your life. Trevor Mauch

I’ve mentioned throwing in some intentional chaos in life and even recently recorded a CarrotCast on the topic. Well, I threw some chaos in this week which has led to some late nights at Carrot.

So it’s now 1 AM and after a long and powerful day, I wanted to do a quick “exhausted” brain dump.

Listen in and enjoy. Even though I might sound tired, I’m still super jazzed about creating passion and purpose in the lives of others.

Throwing a wrench into your life can be something you need to beat complacency. I did that. Here are my powerful thoughts after a long day.

1:20 – Why Trevor is leaving Carrot HQ at 1 AM. Breaking the complacency pattern.
4:40 – Buckling down and hijacking things to get other things done.
6:05 – Lessons about chaos:

  • Lesson 1: Adding in chaos definitely works to push past complacency.
  • Lesson 2: How to better protect your time.

7:30 – Try not to glorify the grind. Changing your “busy” mindset.
9:20 – Two ways to look at “Grinders” … people who are constantly grinding to find the next deal. You need to figure out your mission.
11:45 – What you need to figure out about putting your head down to create chaos.
13:40 – Changing the way your clients think and interact with you. Plant the seeds of growth.
